COVID-19 Update

In the wake of the recent COVID 19 outbreak, the entire world has come to an eventual lockdown. Being a mobility services provider, we understand and empathise with the general public who have travel emergencies. Apart from our business continuity requirement, we consider it as our moral obligation to help transport the needy.

Initiatives by Bookcab

  1. COVID 19 specific regulations have been devised and cascaded to our employees for safety precautions.
  2. Our Operations Team have been working from home since the initial lockdown.
  3. A Business Continuity plan has been formulated to ensure that emergency travel requirements are catered to, adhering to the lockdown regulations imposed by the central and respective state governments.
  4. Hand sanitizers and WHO regulations are in effect in all our cabs.

Booking Process

  1. Please choose your travel date, car type and pick-up time at www.bookcab.in
  2. Complete 25% advance payment online
  3. You will receive the car and driver details, to apply the pass online
  4. We will block the car and driver for your booking for 24 hours, Once your pass is approved, the booking will be executed and the balance 75% can be paid by cash or online to the driver
  5. If the pass is rejected due to unforeseen circumstances, 100% online advance will be refunded immediately.

After much deliberation with our drivers and partners, we have prepared few checks which will be executed as mentioned below :

  1. Drivers will be disinfecting the vehicle before and after every trip.
  2. Sterilising the vehicle upholstery and boot space
  3. All our drivers have been educated and instructed to make regular use of Aarogya Setu app and reminded of social distancing
  4. Drivers have been strictly instructed to ensure there are minimum stoppages en route to the destination.
  5. Contact-less payment is being encouraged through various online payment systems to minimise body contact.
  6. Our driver partners are monitored closely and if they are sick, they are advised to remain off duty
Apart from the aforementioned steps, we are constantly monitoring and strengthening the hygiene of both the drivers and vehicles. However, this is an ongoing process and with support from our drivers and partners, we are sure of overcoming these turbulent times.
