- Ambalavayal Heritage Museum Situated at a distance of 12 kms. from Wayanad, Ambalavayal Heritage Museum is regarded as one of the

arrows, old clay idols and sculptures that are reminiscent of that period.
- Chembra Peak This is the highest hill in Wayanad, situated at a height of 2100 meters above sea level. The Chembra peak is beautiful

- Pakshipathalam Pakshipathalam, situated at 1740 metres above sea level is at a distance of 37kms from Wayanad. Home to a varied

- Thirunelli Temple The famous Thirunelli temple is at a distance of 30 kms. from Wayanad . Situated amidst the Brahmagiri Hills,
it is a beautiful, serene and tranquil spot, oft referred to as the 'Kashi of South'. The ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is much
renowned. The Papanasini spring, which is located just a short way from the temple is extremely famous and is believed to have sacred powers.
- Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary The Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary also known as the Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary was setup in the 1970s
and comes under Project Elephant. Many a species of wildlife as also herds of wild elephants can be seen here. If interested one can enjoy
an elephant safari arranged by the forest department out here. The sanctuary is also home to a wide variety of plants and herbs.
- Valliyoorkkavu Temple The Valliyoorkkavu temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga is worshipped among the tribal communities. It is famous
for its 10 day-long annual festival that is celebrated in the month of April.
- Pookot Lake Pookot Lake, is a freshwater lake and one of the most popular tourist spots of North Kerala. Boating along the lake is a

- Lakkidi Lakkidi, with a picturesque scenery is one of the highest locations in Wayanad, at about 700 metres above sea level.
