BookCab goes Green

Bookcab is not merely any ordinary cab company, we are aware of the perils of pollution to atmosphere and as a part of our corporate social responsibility we have come up with "GrOw GREEN" initiative. We along with our NGO partner TMAD have taken up a conscious effort to offset the co2 in the atmosphere.

With every booking that you do with bookcab, a sapling will be planted on your behalf which contributes to the offsetting of co2 that is emitted by the cab you have booked and travelled in. You also get a certificate for your valuable contribution. Bookcab along with TMAD organizes tree plantation events in an around the city limits. Our customers are welcomed to join and get involved in this godly deed of protecting our environment.

FAQ's

Q. Will I be charged extra in my booking for this sapling?
A. No! There are no extra charges for booking. All the customers are exempted of any additional charge on their booking.

Q. How will I get my certificate?
A. We believe in reducing the usage of paper, we send out an email, which has a printable version of the certificate. This certificate will have the name of the customer and the sign representing its genuinity authorized by TMAD.

Q. How much difference does a tree can make to the atmosphere?
A. Car burns fossil fuels such as petrol and diesel and emits 150gm of co2 for 1 km travel. A tree can offset by absorbing 20kg of co2. In an average life span of 40 years for a tree it absorbs 1 ton of Co2. Though it may seem slow at start but we are more concentrating in the increasing the number of trees.
